CHAVORE PROJECT – RESOURCES (Guides + Activity Cards)

Admin Ostale publikacije, Projekti, Resursi

CHAVORE (which means “children” in the Romani language) is an initiative developed within the international REYN (Romani Early Years Network), committed to enhancing the mental health and well-being of young children aged 0–8, particularly in vulnerable communities such as Roma.

It provides support to practitioners, parents, and the wider community, including play hubs, family and resource centres, through a comprehensive programme that builds knowledge, skills, and practical tools for strengthening children’s emotional development and supporting caregivers.

The programme addresses key areas such as promoting mental health and well-being in early childhood, emotional literacy and the expression of emotions, building resilience and self-esteem, supporting children in distress, fostering inclusion and acceptance of diversity, self-care and a collaborative, community-based approach to mental health and well-being.

Through the link, you can join the international CHAVORE project (both in English and Croatian), and below you can explore the handbook covering these themes, discover activity cards for practical work with children, and access a guide for working with families, along with activity cards for parents and caregivers to use at home.
